Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Senior Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist in South Africa. You will identify, evaluate, and negotiate lucrative real estate opportunities, operating fully remotely from anywhere in SA.

Responsibilities include underwriting, deal sourcing, and leading purchase negotiations with a focus on growing a diverse property portfolio. Strong autonomous work style and executive-level negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration; MBA preferred.
8+ years in real estate acquisitions, development, or investment banking with deal flow.
Proven success in sourcing, underwriting and closing complex real estate deals.
Strong financial modeling, DCF and valuation expertise.
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

Source targets aligned with the investment strategy across property types and markets.
Perform underwriting, market studies and valuations for acquisitions.
Lead negotiations for purchase agreements and terms.
Manage the acquisition process from due diligence to closing.
Build relationships with brokers, owners and developers to generate deal flow.
Prepare investment proposals for the Investment Committee.
Coordinate with legal counsel to facilitate transactions.
Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes impacting acquisitions.
Develop strategies to optimize the acquisition pipeline and returns.
