This is a 100% remote position, empowering you to operate from any location within South Africa. You will be at the forefront of identifying, evaluating, and negotiating lucrative real estate acquisition opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in deal sourcing, financial analysis, and transaction execution. You will work closely with the executive team to grow our client's diverse property portfolio through astute acquisitions. The ideal candidate thrives in an independent, results-oriented environment and possesses exceptional negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the real estate market. Operating remotely, you will be a key driver of our client's expansion strategy, contributing directly to their success through strategic property purchases, all managed through digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify potential real estate acquisition targets aligned with the company's investment strategy across various property types and markets.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including underwriting, market studies, and valuation of potential acquisitions.
• Lead negotiations for purchase agreements, terms, and conditions, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
• Manage the entire acquisition process from initial contact and due diligence through to closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, owners, developers, and other real estate professionals to generate deal flow.
• Prepare detailed investment proposals and presentations for the Investment Committee.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and other advisors to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions.
• Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscapes impacting real estate acquisitions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in real estate acquisitions, development, or investment banking with a focus on real estate.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing, underwriting, and closing complex real estate transactions, with a significant deal volume.
• Expertise in financial modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and real estate valuation techniques.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of real estate legal documentation and transaction processes.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, manage a high volume of leads, and meet challenging deadlines in a remote work setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with real estate CRM and analytics software.
