About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, including planning, design, procurement, implementation, and decommissioning, in a remote setting.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Manage and mentor distributed project teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative virtual environment.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Communicate project status, updates, and critical information effectively to all stakeholders, including executive leadership, through various remote channels.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced IT certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL Expert, CISSP) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 7 years managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects (e.g., data center migrations, cloud deployments, network upgrades).
• Proven experience and success in managing projects entirely remotely, demonstrating exceptional virtual leadership and team management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, servers, storage, and cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, tailored for remote interactions.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
