Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end infrastructure projects with remote collaboration from anywhere in South Africa, focusing on projects near Mahikeng, North West. You will manage planning, execution, budgets, risk, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of extensive experience in project management, with a significant focus on infrastructure projects (e.g., construction, utilities, transportation).
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, multi-million Rand infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing remote project teams effectively.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, with a strong emphasis on risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction best practices, relevant regulations, and safety standards.
• Must be comfortable and effective working in a fully remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.
