Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Engineer specializing in NLP to join our fully remote team. You will design, implement, and deploy advanced NLP solutions that understand and generate human language, tackling text analysis, sentiment analysis, translation, and conversational AI.

The ideal candidate holds a Masters or PhD in CS or related field, with at least 5 years in AI/ML focusing on NLP, and strong Python expertise with TF/PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing.
• Proficiency in Python and key NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of language modeling, text representation techniques (e.g., word embeddings), and sequence-to-sequence models.
• Proven ability to deploy NLP models into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge NLP models and algorithms for various applications.
• Process and analyze large volumes of text data, extracting meaningful insights and features.
• Build and fine-tune language models (e.g., transformers, LSTMs) for tasks such as text classification, named entity recognition, and question answering.
• Develop conversational AI agents, chatbots, and virtual assistants.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define NLP requirements and integrate solutions into products.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in NLP and apply them to improve model performance and capabilities.
