Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote NLP Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. You will design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models and applications, tackling tasks like text classification, translation, sentiment analysis, and conversational AI, contributing to intelligent language systems.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, SpaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Strong understanding of text representation techniques, language modeling, and deep learning for NLP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement NLP models for text classification, named entity recognition, and question answering.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines for large text datasets.
• Fine-tune pre-trained language models for downstream tasks.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define NLP features and requirements.
• Evaluate model performance and iterate on improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay current with NLP and ML research.
