Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior NLP Engineer to lead advanced NLP initiatives in a fully remote capacity. You will design, build, and deploy NLP models, establish scalable pipelines, and collaborate with a distributed team to push the boundaries of language understanding across products and services.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in NLP, strong Python and ML framework skills (TensorFlow/PyTorch), and experience with large language models.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS, Computational Linguistics, AI or related field.
• 5+ years of NLP engineering or research experience.
• Strong Python and NLP libraries experience (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch for NLP tasks.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their application.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models and algorithms.
• Build robust data pipelines for large-scale text datasets.
• Integrate NLP models into existing applications ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on NLP requirements and roadmaps.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the NLP technical vision.
