Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in metallurgy, chemical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy within the mining industry.
• Proven expertise in metallurgical unit processes and analytical techniques; leadership and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot metallurgical processes for mineral recovery (e.g., flotation, leaching, smelting).
• Oversee laboratory and pilot plant testing, analyzing results to improve full-scale operations.
• Manage process control systems and ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
• Lead and mentor a team of metallurgists and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
• Conduct metallurgical accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy in yield and cost data.
