Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will own the full lifecycle of mechanical system development from concept through detailed design, analysis, and verification, collaborating with distributed teams worldwide.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of design and analysis experience, with SolidWorks/ANSYS proficiency and a proven track record delivering concepts to production.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS).
• Experience taking designs from concept to production.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex mechanical systems and components.
• Use CAD/CAE tools for detailed design, simulation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with remote colleagues across engineering, product management, and manufacturing.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate designs and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers online.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
