Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly motivated Remote Mechanical Project Engineer to lead engineering projects from conception to completion. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources.

You will manage full project lifecycles, develop detailed plans, coordinate with distributed teams, and report progress to senior management. A Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years’ experience are required, along with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience managing complex mechanical projects.
• Proficient in PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and remote collaboration.
• Strong leadership and communication for remote teams.
• Proficient in MS Project and Asana.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of mechanical projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with remote teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee technical aspects to meet requirements and quality standards.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management for remote execution.
