Placements24 is seeking a Senior Lead Educator focused on Digital Literacy and Innovation. This remote leadership role drives the development and implementation of cutting-edge digital learning initiatives across a global network of educators and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in educational theory, digital tools, and scalable curriculum innovation, with exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence practices beyond Randburg and across disciplines.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Education, Educational Technology, or related field.
7+ years in education with focus on digital literacy and curriculum innovation.
Experience leading educational technology initiatives and curriculum development.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote, global environment.

Responsibilities

Lead digital literacy programs and initiatives across the institution.
Design and deliver innovative learning modules on digital skills, online safety, media literacy, and computational thinking.
Mentor educators in integrating digital tools and innovative pedagogical approaches.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
Develop frameworks for online and blended learning environments.
Oversee projects related to educational technology adoption and innovation.
Conduct research on emerging trends in digital education and their potential application.
Facilitate professional development sessions for educators on digital literacy and pedagogical innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of digital initiatives with institutional goals.
