Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive fleet management and operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large, diverse fleets across multiple locations.
• Extensive knowledge of fleet management software, TMS, telematics, and data analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful operational strategies.
• Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Ability to work independently, manage complex projects remotely, and drive results.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Must have a dedicated home office with robust internet connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for fleet operations to achieve organizational goals.
• Oversee daily fleet activities, including dispatch, routing, and scheduling, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Implement and manage advanced fleet management systems, telematics, and GPS tracking solutions.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and transportation laws.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of remote fleet coordinators and support staff.
• Manage the fleet's maintenance program, including preventative maintenance schedules and repair management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fleet operations with business objectives.
• Develop and manage the fleet's operational budget, seeking cost-saving opportunities.
