Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Remote Logistics & Fleet Operations Manager to lead strategic planning, execution, and optimization of logistics and fleet across locations. You’ll drive efficiency, manage budgets, and mentor a remote team from anywhere in the world.

You will leverage analytics and modern TMS tools to optimize routes, negotiate carrier contracts, and ensure compliance with transport regulations. This is a fully remote executive role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Admin or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Significant senior experience in logistics and fleet management.
• Experience managing remote operations.
• Expertise in logistics software and TMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic logistics and fleet plans.
• Oversee day-to-day fleet operations including maintenance and compliance.
• Manage carrier relationships, contract negotiations and SLAs.
• Optimize routes/networks for efficiency and cost savings.
• Implement and monitor KPIs for logistics and fleet ops.
• Ensure regulatory, safety and environmental compliance.
