Tidal is seeking a Controller or Senior Finance Manager to partner with leadership across growing direct-to-consumer brands. You will own financial reporting, revenue and inventory accounting, cash flow oversight, and audit coordination for 8- to 9-figure brands.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with eCommerce, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure accuracy and scalable processes. You will oversee close processes, implement internal controls, and drive ERP improvements

Formación

• 3-5 years freelancing experience
• Excellent written and verbal English (C1/C2)
• 7+ years accounting/finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or CPA-equivalent preferred
• MBA in Finance or Business preferred
• Strong understanding of DTC, marketplace, and wholesale revenue models
• Inventory and cost accounting knowledge
• Experience supporting US or EU-based companies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Independent, detail-oriented, and systems-driven

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reporting
• Ensure proper accounting across revenue, returns, chargebacks, and payment processors
• Manage cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee revenue recognition across DTC, marketplace, and wholesale channels
• Reconcile data between ecommerce platforms, payment gateways, and fulfillment partners
• Lead inventory accounting, reserves, landed cost tracking, and margin analysis
• Maintain internal controls and support audit and tax coordination
• Improve ERP workflows, reporting accuracy, and financial automation
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership on financial strategy
