Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Financial Controller to oversee global financial operations from a remote setting. You will lead accounting, reporting, FP&A, and controls across diverse markets, ensuring accuracy and compliance while working with distributed teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting/finance, 5+ in controller roles, IFRS proficiency, ERP experience (NetSuite/SAP), and a track record of strategic impact in fast-growing tech environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• At least 5 years in a financial controller or senior leadership role.
• Experience with international operations and multi-currency finance.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and tax compliance.
• Proven track record leading remote finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and asset safeguarding.
• Lead FP&A including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and tax regulation adherence.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors and banking partners; provide strategic insight.
• Drive process improvements and global finance initiatives.
