Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Event Chef to lead culinary direction for virtual events and at-home meal kits from anywhere in the world. You will design innovative menus and guide distributed kitchens through digital platforms to deliver exceptional dining experiences globally.

The role requires 8+ years in professional culinary arts, strong remote collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of food safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in professional culinary arts, with high-volume catering or fine dining experience.
• Ability to develop creative and adaptable menus for diverse dietary needs.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards (e.g., ServSafe certification is a plus).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills for remote workforce.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics and supply chains in distributed environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop and curate diverse, high-quality menus suitable for virtual events, including meal kits and at-home dining experiences.
• Create detailed recipes, preparation guides, and plating instructions for remote culinary partners.
• Conduct virtual training sessions and provide real-time guidance to distributed kitchen teams to ensure consistent quality and execution.
• Collaborate with clients and the virtual event planning team to customize menus and meet dietary requirements.
• Manage food costing, ingredient sourcing strategies, and supply chain logistics for remote operations.
• Implement and oversee rigorous food safety and sanitation protocols across partner kitchens.
• Monitor customer feedback and operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
• Stay abreast of emerging culinary trends, dietary needs, and technologies relevant to remote catering.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and provide swift, effective solutions to ensure seamless event execution.
• Contribute to strategic development of the company’s remote catering service offerings.
