Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the end-to-end design of complex electrical systems for a global client base, with a strong emphasis on remote collaboration and digital workflows.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with international remote teams, and apply CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS Electrical, Altium) and simulation (MATLAB/Simulink) to optimize designs and ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical system design and leadership of complex projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of electrical systems, including schematics and control logic.
• Develop detailed specifications and project documentation for remote teams and clients.
• Use advanced simulation/modeling tools to analyze performance and optimize designs.
• Collaborate with international remote teams using digital communication tools.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technicians working remotely.
• Conduct design reviews and implement modifications based on testing results.
