Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the conceptualization, design, and development of complex electrical systems for diverse industrial and commercial applications from a remote home office.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive design reviews, ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards, and collaborate with international teams to deliver robust electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical system design and engineering.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and simulation tools.
• Deep understanding of IEC and IEEE standards and safety protocols.
• Proven ability to lead design projects and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of intricate electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and automation solutions.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including schematics, specifications, and BOMs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Conduct thorough design reviews ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project management, manufacturing, and clients to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex design challenges and provide remote technical support.
