Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead e-commerce platform development and enhancements. This remote-first role emphasizes guiding cross-functional teams, Agile leadership, and delivering scalable, user-friendly online store experiences.

You will drive platform upgrades, implement new features, and collaborate with product, design, and marketing to optimize the customer journey and online sales growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience with e-commerce.
• Experience delivering complex e-commerce projects (platform upgrades, feature implementations, PIM integration).
• Strong understanding of UX/UI and online marketing.
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira/Confluence.
• Excellent leadership and communication, able to manage remote teams.
• Experience with Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PM of e-commerce platform initiatives from concept to deployment.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
• Drive Agile ceremonies and sprint execution.
• Collaborate with product, design, development and marketing teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies.
• Communicate status and key decisions to stakeholders.
