Placements24 is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its IT operations team in a remote-first environment. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure with IaC, and improve observability across systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role focused on automation.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with configuration management tools.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for high availability and scalability.
Automate deployment, configuration management, and incident response tasks.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve the software delivery lifecycle.
Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
