Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role focuses on automating, building scalable cloud infrastructure, and improving reliability. You will work with cutting-edge tech to manage CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and monitoring in a distributed environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience, strong cloud skills, Docker/Kubernetes, and scripting with Python or Bash, plus a solid grasp of security and CI/CD principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent experience in CS/IT.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or sysadmin.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Proficiency with Python or Bash and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong networking, security, and CI/CD understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Maintain IaC for provisioning cloud resources (Terraform/Ansible).
• Manage cloud infra on AWS/Azure/GCP for high availability and security.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate to optimize deployment processes and resilience.
• Automate tasks, security hardening, and disaster recovery.
