Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy market analysis, financial modeling, or consulting with focus on renewables.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R) and experience with energy market databases.
• Strong understanding of energy economics, power markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and storage.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to assess viability and risk of proposed energy projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management on strategic initiatives and investments.
• Collaborate with engineering, project development, and policy teams to provide analytical support and align with goals.
• Monitor regulatory changes and policy developments impacting the energy landscape and advise on implications.
