Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain robust security controls across cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cloud architects and engineering teams to embed security in the development lifecycle and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include threat detection, incident response, and securing IAM, networks and data across AWS, Azure, and GCP, while enabling CI/CD security and automation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in information security with strong cloud security focus.
• Proven expertise on AWS, Azure, GCP and IAM, VPC, SGs, KMS.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability scanners and IDS/IPS.
• Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or AWS Security are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage security solutions for cloud environments.
• Develop cloud security policies, standards and procedures.
• Enforce IAM, network security, data protection and vulnerability measures.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration tests and scans.
• Lead incident response for cloud breaches and monitor threats.
• Automate security tasks and integrate security into CI/CD (DevSecOps).
