Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect to lead security design and implementation for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) in a remote-first team. You will guide risk management, compliance, and security operations with a proactive leadership approach.

You will collaborate with engineering and DevOps globally to embed security into CI/CD, manage IAM and data protection, and stay ahead of evolving cloud threats while mentoring junior staff.

Formación

• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of information security with a focus on cloud security architecture.
• Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Experience with cloud security tools and security automation (IaC).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Manage IAM, network security, data encryption, and vulnerability management in the cloud.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses of cloud deployments.
• Oversee security for cloud-native services and containerized environments.
• Maintain security documentation for cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Respond to cloud security incidents and guide remediation.
• Stay updated on cloud security threats and trends.
• Mentor junior security engineers on cloud security best practices.
