Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Water & Sanitation for a fully remote role. You will design, plan, and oversee implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure on global projects, collaborating with teams from diverse regions.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Civil Engineering (Water Resources/Environmental) with Pr. Eng. registration desirable, and 8+ years of relevant experience. Remote work and sustainable solutions are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Pr. Eng. registration is desirable.
• Minimum 8 years in water and sanitation sector.
• Expertise in hydraulic modeling and water/wastewater treatment.
• Proficient in EPANET, SWMM and Civil 3D software.
• Excellent analytical, communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Experience handling international projects is a plus.
• Commitment to sustainability and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of water supply, treatment plants, and stormwater projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact analyses.
• Prepare detailed designs, calculations, drawings and specs.
• Oversee remote construction and commissioning, providing technical guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and regulators via virtual platforms.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations.
• Manage timelines, budgets and resources from a remote setting.
• Mentor junior engineers and project staff.
• Stay abreast of advances in water and sanitation engineering.
• Contribute to proposals and client relationship management.
