Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead the design of water and wastewater infrastructure in a remote-work setup. The role focuses on delivering compliant, high-quality designs and supporting large, complex projects for diverse clients.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in water resources design, proficiency in EPANET/InfoWater/SWMM, and CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. PE/PrEng is desirable; strong remote communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Water Resources or Environmental emphasis.
• P.Eng (ECSA) registration is highly desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in water and sanitation design.
• Proficiency in water/wastewater modeling software (EPANET, InfoWater, SWMM).
• Experience with CAD tools AutoCAD and Civil 3D; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design, and development of water supply and wastewater systems.
• Prepare detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and specs for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plants.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis to optimize performance and capacity.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and quality in a remote setting.
• Collaborate virtually with project managers, clients, and other disciplines; mentor junior staff.
