Job summary

Performability Recruitment is recruiting a Remote Civil Engineer with a focus on Water Resources Management. The role involves planning, designing, and implementing sustainable water infrastructure, including water supply, wastewater and stormwater systems, while collaborating with a globally distributed team.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with Water Resources specialization, Pr Eng registration, and at least 7 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in EPANET,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration or equivalent international certification.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources engineering, including design and project management.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software: EPANET, InfoWorks WS Pro, HEC-RAS.
• Strong understanding of water quality, treatment processes and SuDS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water distribution networks, sewer systems, and river basins.
• Perform feasibility studies, cost estimations, and environmental impact assessments for water resource projects.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, and tender submissions for clients worldwide.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members, clients, and regulatory bodies through virtual communication channels.
• Stay abreast of advancements in water resource management technologies and sustainable engineering practices.
