Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in infrastructure design to lead large-scale water, wastewater, and transportation projects in a remote-first role.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with distributed teams, and deliver detailed designs using Civil 3D, Revit, and HEC-RAS while ensuring quality and compliance across project lifecycles. Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years’ experience; PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's is a plus.
• PE license or eligibility for registration.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, HEC-RAS and related tools; strong remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed design calculations, technical reports, and contract documents.
• Conduct site feasibility studies and provide expert guidance through the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, clients, and regulators in a virtual environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence within a remote team.
