Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Chemical Process Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will drive improvements in chemical manufacturing through advanced process engineering, lead complex projects, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to strategic process development.
You will collaborate with global teams, optimize processes for yield and cost, and ensure environmental compliance.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering required.
- 10+ years of hands-on chemical process engineering with leadership.
- Expert knowledge of process simulation, modeling and statistical analysis.
- Experience with HAZOP studies and safety assessments.
- Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced chemical processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of chemical engineers.
- Conduct PHAs and risk assessments.
- Develop and validate new process technologies and scale-up strategies.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure project execution and knowledge transfer.
- Optimize existing processes for yield, efficiency and cost reduction while ensuring environmental compliance.
