Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to join a remote-first, globally distributed team. You will implement BEPs, manage BIM models across architecture, structure and MEP, and lead clash detection and data standards for international projects.

Requirements include 7+ years in BIM coordination, expert Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD skills, and strong communication for remote collaboration. Travel is not required, with a home office setup essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM coordination and management, with a strong understanding of international project delivery.
• Expert proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Thorough knowledge of BIM standards, protocols (e.g., ISO 19650), and workflows.
• Experience with various project delivery methods (e.g., D&B, ECI).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, critical for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage BIM execution plans (BEPs) for various international projects.
• Oversee the creation and management of BIM models for architecture, structure, and MEP disciplines.
• Conduct regular clash detection and coordination meetings using Navisworks or similar software.
• Ensure models and data comply with project-specific BIM standards and protocols.
• Facilitate information exchange between design teams, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and workflows to project teams.
• Develop and maintain BIM content libraries and templates.
• Perform quality assurance checks on BIM models and associated data.
• Stay current with the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to ensure efficient BIM implementation.
