Placements24 is recruiting a Senior BIM Coordinator for a fully remote role supporting international clients from a home office. The position centers on developing BIM strategies, managing project BIM models, ensuring data integrity, and coordinating with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.

You will lead BIM execution plans, coordinate multidisciplinary activities, and maintain federated models while training project teams on BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of BIM coordination/management experience.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, clash detection, and federated models.
• Experience with design-bid-build and design-build project delivery.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and remote work capabilities.
• Experience with Mossel Bay, Western Cape or coastal projects is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate reports on model progress, quality, and clash resolution status.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in BIM coordination and management.
• Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, clash detection, and federated models.
• Experience with various project delivery methods (e.g., design-bid-build, design-build).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with construction projects in Mossel Bay, Western Cape or similar coastal regions is beneficial.
• Familiarity with international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
