This fully remote role enables you to work from anywhere in South Africa, contributing to cutting-edge BIM strategies across a diverse project portfolio.

You will lead BIM processes, develop and manage complex BIM models in Revit and Navisworks, collaborate with global teams, provide guidance, and contribute to training and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 8+ years in architectural practice with 5+ years BIM focus.
• Expert Revit and Navisworks proficiency; other BIM tools a plus.
• Proven experience developing BIM execution plans.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, docs, and project lifecycles.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

About the Role

This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will play a key role in developing and implementing advanced BIM strategies across a portfolio of exciting projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills in BIM software, a deep understanding of architectural design principles, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance the design and construction process. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes and standards on assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain complex BIM models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project teams (architects, engineers, contractors) remotely to integrate BIM workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on BIM best practices.
• Develop and deliver BIM training to internal staff as needed.
• Generate documentation and reports from BIM models for design review and construction purposes.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in BIM technology and propose new tools and workflows.
• Contribute to the firm's BIM strategy and knowledge base.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural practice, with at least 5 years focused specifically on BIM implementation and management.
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; knowledge of other BIM software is a plus.
• Proven experience in developing and enforcing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, and project lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working effectively in a remote team environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in BIM modeling and its application in architectural projects.
