Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aviation Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software for avionics and flight management systems in a fully remote setup. You will work with a global team of engineers and domain experts to deliver robust solutions that enhance aircraft performance, safety, and efficiency.

You will write and review high-quality code in C++, Python, or Java, participate in architecture discussions, and help advance simulation and testing frameworks for aviation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with embedded or real-time systems.
• Proven experience with C++, Python, or Java and familiarity with SDLC methodologies.
• Understanding of aerospace systems, avionics, or flight control principles is desirable.
• Experience with software configuration management tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote team work.

Responsibilities
