Placements24 is recruiting a Remote Senior Automotive Quality Assurance Manager to advance quality initiatives for a global automotive supplier. You will establish and maintain QMS, ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle from anywhere.

This role requires strong remote leadership, analytical skills, and collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams worldwide to uphold top-tier quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• 7+ years in quality assurance/quality management within automotive industry.
• Proven experience leading remote teams.
• CQE or equivalent certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in line with IATF 16949 and automotive standards.
• Oversee incoming material, in-process, and final inspections.
• Lead RCA and implement CAPA.
• Mentor geographically dispersed QA teams.
• Conduct internal and support external customer audits.
• Track KPIs and report quality metrics to executives.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to embed quality.
• Stay current with evolving automotive quality standards.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
