Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 6+ years in automotive quality assurance.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949.
• Experience with FMEA, SPC and RCA.
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Experience with test plans and quality reports.
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA plans and procedures for automotive components and systems.
• Define KPIs and establish reporting to track progress and improvements.
• Lead audits, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to address quality issues.
• Develop and execute test cases for software and hardware components.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Manage supplier quality and ensure compliance with standards.
• Stay current with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and best practices in automotive QA.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality.
