Placements24 seeks a remote Quality Assurance Specialist to lead QA activities for automotive components from a home office. You will implement QA policies, conduct remote audits, and collaborate with engineering, production and R&D teams across time zones to uphold ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

The role requires 4+ years in automotive QA, strong data analysis, and experience with CAPA, SPC and Minitab. Remote-first environment with flexible hours and global reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field.
• Min 4 years in QA within automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
• Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, and SPC.
• Proficiency with Minitab or similar statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA policies for automotive components.
• Perform remote inspections and audits of processes and finished products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and implement CAPA actions.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and non-conformance reports.
