This role emphasizes leadership, deep embedded/RTOS expertise, and compliance with AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 standards, while driving architectural innovation in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development with at least 10 years in an architectural role in automotive.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems, RTOS, and automotive software architectures (AUTOSAR).
• Proficiency in design patterns, architecture principles, and modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the overall software architecture for ECUs and vehicle systems.
• Select technologies, frameworks, and patterns to meet performance, safety, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Provide technical leadership to software development teams during implementation.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance capabilities.
• Ensure architecture adheres to standards and safety regulations (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
• Lead resolution of complex architectural challenges and drive innovation.
