Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Remote Automotive Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and test critical embedded software and hardware for next‑generation vehicles. You will work remotely within a forward‑looking engineering team, advancing automotive technology with a flexible work setup.

Responsibilities include ECU software design, engine/ADAS/infotainment algorithms, drivers and middleware, and RTOS‑based debugging with hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded systems design in automotive industry.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and RTOS.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet; diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug embedded software for ECUs.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for engine control, ADAS, or infotainment.
• Develop and maintain device drivers and middleware for embedded hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and integration.
• Perform unit, integration, and HIL testing of embedded systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and adherence to automotive standards.
