Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Automotive Software Engineer specializing in ADAS. You will design, implement, and optimize software for sensor fusion, perception, and control in embedded automotive environments.

You will work with RTOS environments, collaborate with hardware teams, and contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation while staying current with ADAS and cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of C/C++ in embedded automotive contexts.
• Strong RTOS experience across AUTOSAR, QNX, Linux RT.
• Hands-on experience with sensor fusion, perception, path planning, and control.
• Familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software for ADAS features using C/C++.
• Implement sensor fusion, perception, path planning, and control within embedded environments.
• Work with RTOS and optimize performance and resource use.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define software requirements for ECUs and sensors.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain software documentation including design specs and test reports.
• Troubleshoot and debug in simulation environments and on target hardware.
• Stay updated on ADAS, AI/ML, and cybersecurity advancements.
