Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our remote team across South Africa. You will research target accounts, identify key decision makers and craft personalized outreach to book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You'll own the top of the funnel, maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft, and use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo to hit volume goals while preserving quality.

Qualifications

• This role expects 2+ years in SDR/BDR or similar, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
