Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking discovery calls for our AEs.

The role requires proven SDR/BDR experience, strong written communication, and proficiency with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus Salesforce CRM in pipeline management.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
