Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outreach, not spam, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to meet volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
