Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and set up meetings with qualified prospects, acting as the first impression of Blacksmith to potential clients.

You will work remotely within SA, using tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to maintain pipeline health and hit volume goals while delivering quality outreach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
