Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision-makers, crafting thoughtful outreach with tools like LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft and Salesforce.

This is a remote, full-time role supporting pipeline growth for a dynamic agency. You will build accurate contact lists, manage your own outreach sequences and collaborate with Account Executives to drive

Qualifications

2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
