Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa, owning the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects. You will craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone and maintain clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records to support the sales team.

This full-time, remote role requires 2 years in an SDR/BDR capacity, comfort with outreach tools, and a gritty, coachable mindset

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
