Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching and sourcing qualified decision makers and booking meetings to create strong first impressions of Blacksmith.

This remote role across South Africa requires grit, strong written communication, and the ability to personalize outreach using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, Salesforce and ZoomInfo to meet volume

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
