Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an energetic Sales Development Representative to drive early-stage pipeline across South Africa. You’ll research accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone to book qualified discovery calls.

You'll maintain a clean Salesforce/SalesLoft pipeline and collaborate with Account Executives to tighten targeting and messaging. This is a full-time remote role within South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience preferred
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiar with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts across SA.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
