Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and book meetings to fuel the sales funnel.

You'll use LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach, keep Salesforce/SalesLoft up to date, and collaborate with Account Executives to schedule qualified discovery calls. Remote role for SA residents with a high-volume, high-quality outreach mindset.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, SaaS or agency experience preferred.
• Ability to craft personalized outreach and effective messaging.
• Experience with outbound tools and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
