Skg is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a fully remote role within South Africa. You will manage client financial records, process transactions, and generate reports while supporting payroll and tax submissions.

The position emphasizes accuracy, organization, and reliability in a flexible, remote-friendly environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong software skills (QuickBooks, Xero, Pastel Partner), and a solid grasp of bookkeeping principles.

Formación

• Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting preferred.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, typically 3+ years.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Pastel Partner is essential.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good understanding of MS Excel.
• Effective communication skills, suitable for remote client interaction.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Must be eligible to work remotely within South Africa.

Responsabilidades

• Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain up-to-date ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Manage client payroll processing and related tax submissions.
• Ensure compliance with bookkeeping best practices and regulations.
• Support auditors and tax practitioners as needed.
• Maintain organized and complete financial records for clients.
