Job summary

Remote Recruitment is seeking a Customer Retention Specialist to support a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will retain UK customers, win back at-risk accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce churn.

The role requires experience in retention, strong negotiation skills, proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce), and excellent English communication. A long-term, fully remote placement is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in retention, account management, customer success or sales.
• Confident negotiating and handling objections.
• Experience with a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Ability to read account data and spot risk signals.
• Strong spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Contact at-risk and cancelling customers to understand and resolve issues.
• Negotiate retention offers within agreed commercial limits.
• Run win-back campaigns on lapsed accounts.
• Log cancellation reasons and report churn drivers.
• Work with support and account teams to fix recurring causes.
